SAR Latvija team had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the SGRK (Special Rescue Response Team) initiative, who approached us with the aim of introducing the solutions they are developing for the search and rescue sector.

During the meeting, we were presented with their operations management platform, designed to improve resource coordination, team organization, and information exchange during search and rescue operations. We also had the opportunity to learn more about their technological developments, including unmanned aerial systems (drones) and other innovative solutions.

We have agreed to begin cooperation by testing the platform in practical use and providing feedback to support its further development. In our view, technological innovation and cooperation between organizations are essential for strengthening search and rescue capabilities in Latvia.

We hope this collaboration will create opportunities to work together in real search and rescue operations in the future, combining practical experience, human resources, and modern technology with a shared goal – providing faster and more effective assistance when it is needed most.
